After their great debut track "Crosswinds” which came out on "Future Sounds Of Jazz” Vol.7 in summer 2000, the Salvador Group (Florian Hartl and Julian Fischer, both natives of Munich/Germany) with their first 12”. "The Moon Is High” is a wonderful odyssey through uplifting beats, deep atmospheric sounds and some lovely piano tones.
"Crosswinds”, the track that already was on FSOJ 7, sounds as fresh as ever with its sharp beats & breaks and moody jazz chords. And finally there’s "Crag” a track which sets the beats back and makes space for a drivin’ bass line and a magnificent groovy piano pattern.
