After two decades and more than 500 releases, Compost Records started to bundle some of its finest tunes as Various Artists digital download compilation albums. The variety and full spectrum of Compost’s repertoire has never or rarely been presented in form of a musical genre compilation. These releases will be compiled or DJ-mixed by Compost’s artists and are available as digital downloads, except in some rare cases very very limited as 500 CDs.

After selecting and mixing the well-received Compost Nu Jazz Selection Volume 1 (released 2017), Volume 2 (released 2019) and Volume 3 (released 2021) for Compost Records; Art-D-Fact and Rupert & Mennert created a new sublime selection of Compost (back) catalogue gems. This time the focus is on a variety of high quality (deep)house music with a bonus dubstep/bass tune to finish of the continuous mix. In the 00's and 10's Compost Records released a large number of warm and melodic house productions. This selection focusses on some of the most iconic tracks and remixes with attention for beautifully shaped soundscapes. With works by Robert Owens (produced by Jimpster), TJ Kong & Nuno Dos Santos, Trüby Trio, Matt Flores, Marbert Rocel (remixed by Trus'me), Roberto Rodriguez feat. Max C., Nils Penner (remixed by Paskal & Urban Absolutes), Bougie Soliterre (remixed by Tiefschwarz), Pitchben (remixed by Lorenz Rhode) and Eddy meets Yannah (remixed by Rainer Trüby). This selection and continuous mix (highlight of the selection) is perfectly suitable to be played on pre-party occasions and sunny beaches. A nice candidate for a summer soundtrack. About Art-D-Fact, Rupert & Mennert

Art-D-Fact, from The Netherlands, is what we call a passionate music enthusiast. For years and years he did non- profit music related activities varying from DJing (border crossing genres), writing reviews for both online and printed magazines like DJBroadcast and the www.dance.nl platform (and still does), (online) radioshows and creatively creating music selections / soundtracks for different purposes.

Rupert & Mennert are living in The Netherlands. In very small villages. From there they send their music into the wide world. They are the self-proclaimed archivers of the Compost Vault. This already resulted in loads of Compost Selections (Jazz, Downbeat, House, Experimental, Ambient, Remixes, Vocals, Tech House). They remix tracks (Ensemble du Verre, Timo Garcia, Marbert.Rocel), make avant-garde music together with Me Raabenstein (Lagerfeltz) and are always looking for new projects!
