Minus 8 masters the whole spectrum of Downbeat, Drum & Bass and Nu-Jazz. There are only a very few internationally known DJs, producers and remixers from Switzerland. Robert Jan Meyer, aka Minus 8, is one of them, now presenting his third album "Elysian Fields".

The album centres around breakbeats, beautiful atmospheric moments, songs, and live-elements provided by skillfull Jazz-musicians like Chris Wiesendanger, and vocals of Billie (she singing on several MAW records) and Tanja Birri. Some call this lounge, some downbeat, others nu jazz, we call it beautiful relaxed living room music.
