Genf from Cologne are Oliver Brand (drums and electronics), Olaf Karnik (guitar) and Jens Massel (electronics). They are often compared to Kreidler and Toirtoise. The British Wire magazine once made their album to the "Album Of The Month"

Here is the EP relating to their second album "Import/Export" and this remix 12"inch which includes a disco-house remix by Hans Nieswandt / Whirlpool. The album was recorded in Wilerswirst in the legendary Can-Studios (sound enginiering by René Tinner) with the assistense of ex-Supreme Machine bass-player Ralph Obermauer.The title-song of their album "Import/Export" (included on this remix-EP) is the best example for their "analog meets digital" sound. Freestyle electronica, post-rock or dance-music Genf finds it’ s place between the chairs.

Oh ...by the way, "Nogger" the last Track on the 12"inch is a bonus track which you will not find on the Album
